"Jurassic World 2" release date is already announced and the stars of the previous installment will be back to reprise their roles. There will also be some additional cast members although their particular roles are not yet revealed. Producers of the upcoming movie say that the story of this sequel will be different.

The Second Chapter Is Already Being Written

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be back to their roles. A new cast member and a veteran actor, James Cromwell will also be on board but his role is not yet specified. J.A. Bayoneta, director of "Jurassic World 2" revealed that they are already writing the second chapter. He also confided that they are trying to find the right balance on what can be expected and what can surprise the fans.

"Jurassic World 2" Will Be Different From Its Predecessor

From the way the director has put it, "Jurassic World 2" will be different from its predecessor. In this respect, the entire team is somewhat pressured to do better than before. It can be recalled that the previous installment was a global success. To date, it has already earned more than $1 billion in global revenues.

This Time, The Dinosaurs Will Be Weaponized

Cromwell will not be the only new cast member of "Jurassic World 2." The movie will also feature Justice Smith, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, and Daniella Pineda. The overall story plot is also being kept secret by the producers. However, there are some leaks which say that this time, the dinosaurs will be weaponized.

This Movie Will Feature Human/Dinosaur Relations

"Jurassic World 2" will be a collaborative effort between Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg. There are also some rumors that suggest this upcoming movie will not just feature dinosaurs, but more importantly, their relations to humans. The director of the first installment, Colin Trevorrow will be producing the movie and has co-written the script with Derek Connolly. Fans can expect this movie to launch on June 22, 2018.
