Karrueche Tran Granted Restraining Order Against Chris Brown

Karrueche Tran, ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown, filed for a restraining order against him last week. She said that her ex-Chris Brown threatens her life, her family, and friends during their on-and-off relationship this month.

Official Statement Of Karrueche Tran

PEOPLE got in court documents with the model, 28, states Brown, 27, "he threatened to kill me, to take me out to others," "he threatened to kill me over text messages," "he threatened to harass my friends" and "he threatened to shoot me."

"Around the second week of February, he told a few of our common friends that he was going to kill me," Tran added in her statement. "He said if no one else can have me, then he's going to 'take me out.'

"Brown's lawyer has not yet responded to this allegation and Tran's rep declined to comment on that matter. After a riotous on-and-off relationship, they've officially split-up last 2014.

Tran's also requested that her mother Cindy Adamson, and her brother Raymond, be protected by law as well because "they are my family and I don't want them to be at risk." Aside from her own protection. The restraining order requires Brown to stay at least 100 yards away from Tran's family.

"He also threatened to pursue my friends, in which there was an incident a few weeks ago where he told my friend he had to leave a party or else he was going to get beat up and also threw a drink in another friend's face," reads Tran's declaration. "Therefore, we decided to finally go through with the restraining order because he is taking an action on his words."

Brown Was Also Accused Of An Assault With His Ex-Rihanna

Tran also alleges Brown "punched me in my stomach twice" and "pushed me down the stairs" more than a few years ago, but no police report was filed all through that time. These alleged incidents would have occurred while he was on probation for his assault against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.Brown was accused of making unlawful threats and felony assault after beating Rihanna on Feb. 8, 2009. The singer later pled guilty to the charges and accepted a plea deal of public service to avoid jail time. He served six years and 1,000.5 hours, Brown finished serving his time for the charges in 2015.

The restraining order will be temporarily in effect under the next hearing date on March 9.
