Nintendo Switch News: Joy-Con Problems On Pre-Release

Nintendo Switch is about to hit the shelves on March 3rd, and fans can't wait to get their hands on them. And some, fortunately, did before the release. However, they found several problems that will affect overall gameplay.

Nintendo Switch News: Joy-Con Synching Problems

One of the major things that set the Switch apart from its competitors is its overall look and format. And with this, the joy-cons play a huge part. In the recent reports, several people who got their Nintendo Switch ahead of release tried playing several games. And as they do, most of them found a problem in the Joy-Con. Particularly, the left Joy-Con.

Polygon shared their report that as they played Breath Of The Wild, they had repeated problems on the left Joy-Con. Very particularly on its synching capabilities. The report says that it was either partially, or completely losing sync with the Switch while connected to the television. And of course, this resulted in a lot of deaths in the game.

And it's not just Polygon, a lot of people from the press who got their Switch are having the same problems. But of course, not all people are experiencing the same things. Some are saying that they are having no problems playing with Switch. However, the problem has been popping up quite often.

Upon further tests, the connection issues did not just happen while playing Breath Of The Wild. GameSpot reports that it also happened on the game system menu.

With problems popping up before the release, Nintendo might fix the problem in form of a patch on the first week of the game. There is still no certainty to this. But according to the same report by Polygon, a Nintendo representative said that they are already looking into the problem. For now, players who are getting their copy of the Switch will have to keep a close watch on their consoles.

Nintendo Switch comes out worldwide on March 3, 2017.
