Xiaomi Mi Mix Confirmed To Be Soon Available In Other Markets; Including US?

Great news to Xiaomi fans, especially those who have long been waiting to get their hands on the Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone. Apparently, the company has announced to launch the Xiaomi Mi Mix, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Xiaomi Redmi 4A on other markets outside of China.

According to the reports, the Xiaomi Mi Mix, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A will be made available in the UAE in March. The Mi Mix will cost at around AED 2,999, the Redmi Note 4 will cost AED 659 and the Redmi 4A retailing at AED 389, which will be offered by online and retail outlets such as Estisalat and Carrefour.

When asked whether there will be a global rollout of the said devices, one Xiaomi Executive answered that the Mi Mix will definitely be making its way to other markets. In fact, the said devices will also be heading to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In regards to what other markets will offer the Xiaomi Mi Mix, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A, the company made no solid answer.

Will It Be Available In The US?

Apparently, the possibility of this happening is slim to none. The reason behind this is Xiaomi's lack of patents in the U.S., which will expose the company to a number of infringement suits. Therefore, the only choice as of now is to buy the device on other markets, although waiting patiently until Xiaomi decides to do so can also be a choice.
