The start of 2017 was quite festive as some popular names in the gaming industry were recently released including Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, For Honor, Nier Automata and the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn. But most of these games are for the consoles, so the PC users out there were asking "What about us?". Do not worry as 2017 has a lot to offer for those PC users. This article will run down on some of the notable PC games that players should not be missed playing.

Adventures of Pip

Tic Toc Games' Adventures of Pip is a side scrolling action-platformer game that was based on an interesting premise of evolving and devolving a pixel-based hero between his 1-bit and 16-bit forms to fight and advance through different levels after level of goons and bosses. The unique premise has rich environments and fun gameplay combined to form an amazing game with a lot of heart and charm.

Axiom Verge

The game developer Tom Happ, who was known for his work on the famous EA Sports' Tiger Woods PGA Tour and NFL Street franchises, has gone indie and made a delightful tribute to the exploratory action genre which was also known as Metroidvania. This 2D platformer game combines the best aspects of classic side-scrollers like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Metroid game to deliver a refined experience for newcomers and players of the genre and seasoned vets alike. Axiom Verge is a fun, engaging title, but plodding story elements and seemingly pointless weapons mar the experience a bit.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

Frank West comes back to the zombie-slaying action in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record game. Capcom will be reimagining Dead Rising 2 and sees the gruff photojournalist facing off against a wider array of horrific monsters, building new and powerful weapons, snapping magnificent photos, and best of all, mixing the game up in a new open-world sandbox mode
