Overwatch News, Update: Bug Makes Orisa's Supercharger Unkillable

In line with the inclusion of Orisa to the Public Test Region (PTR), Overwatch gets a whole new slew of game breaking bugs. One problem revolves around the new character's ultimate ability while another glitch focuses on Reinhardt's shield.

New Overwatch Bug Affects Orisa's Supercharger

The newest hero has been fairly popularly among fans for her useful kit and defensive abilities. Her ultimate ability, the Supercharger, grants allies a major damage buff through a certain item she deploys on the floor. To make things fair, enemies can destroy the said item if Orisa and her team do not manage to guard it.

However, PVP Live live reports that if the robot uses her ultimate ability on the stairs, the item becomes untargetable and ultimately undestroyable. Furthermore, some users are even claiming that this glitch works on the payload. With this in mind, players could ultimately abuse this bug without fear of an enemy ever breaking Orisa's ultimate ability.

Reinhardt Shield Glitch Gives Him The Ultimate Defense

Incidentally, another PVP Live report reveals that Reinhardt has a glitch wherein he can attack while his shield is up. This glitch lasts until the round ends and will remain even if players try to switch heroes and come back to Reinhardt. This bug supposedly only happens at the Ilios map but another netizen has reported that it also works at Nepal.

The whole issue has something to do with switching abilities too quickly as one player got the said glitch by charging and activating Reinhardt's shield just as he hit the wall. Luckily, all said bugs are still in the PTR version of the game and will most likely not be making it to the final patch. Those who come across other kinds of bugs can report it to Blizzard to make sure it gets fixed.

While Orisa is a powerful tank, she still has plenty of counters like Sombra, Junkrat or Widowmaker. In spite of this, she makes an admirable tank when paired with Reinhardt as they can easily alternate between shielding allies, especially on defense maps. Fans can play Overwatch on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
