US Weekly confirmed that the Joy-Anna Duggar and her boyfriend, Austin Forsyth, are officially engaged. The Duggar daughter, who is one of the 23 members in her family, is regularly seen on TLC's Counting On, a derivative series of 19 Kids and Counting, where spectators have seen her relationship with Austin grow over the past few months.

"We just got engaged!", the 19-year-old told Us Weekly. "I'm so thrilled to be engaged to my best friend - Austin made it so romantic, it's amazing", Austin, 22, echoed his fiancé's happiness regarding the engagement. He added that he is emotional and speechless. The two are very excited to what the future holds for them.

The Proposal

The couple shared the details on how Austin popped the question to his girlfriend. According to Austin, he chose a special scenery, which is close to his heart. "It's a place that I've come many times to just get away and spend time with the Lord. I just knew that this was the place that I wanted to ask her," he revealed.

During the season 2 finale of Counting On last February 27, Austin asked permission to Joy-Anna's father, Jim Bob Duggar, to marry his daughter. During the dialog, he shared what he loves most about her. "Over the years, I've been watching, and I really admire her heart for the Lord and her character. She's a good delegator - and, of course, her loveliness," he told Jim Bob.

Overjoyed

The newly-engaged couple has known each other for about 15 years. Their families are also close and share similar values as well, which is important for every relationship. They began courting since November and announced their courtship via video in TLC. As per Us Weekly, the reality star will be the fifth in her family to be engaged.
