Refurbished 2016 MacBook Pros For Sale, Discounts over 10 Percent

The 2016 MacBook Pro has officially launched into the market just a few months ago, but a refurbished version of its non-Touch Bar models are already ready for the taking. The notable cost cuts offer a great way for individuals to purchase the updated notebook for a lower price. The discount percentage is somewhere between 12 percent and 16 percent off the original price.

As The Next Web noted, Apple only released the 2016 MacBook Pro lineup in October. As such, it is a little early to already be offering refurbished models. The actual reason as to why the Cupertino-based tech company has opted to go ahead is unknown. Nevertheless, the refurbished models are selling quickly on the website.

As added by 9 to 5 Mac, there are currently two models that are available in the online store. One comes in Silver and is priced at US$1,869. It has 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and is powered by an Intel Core i7 2.4Ghz processor. The second is in Space Gray and is offered with the same specifications, except for the SSD which comes in 1TB. It is priced at US$2,209. However, as mentioned earlier, the models are selling out quickly so the configurations are subject to quick change.

The great thing about buying from the refurbished store is that the unit is still coming from Apple directly. It also comes with a one-year limited warranty and a 14-day return opportunity. The Cupertino tech giant promises quality products and an option to purchase AppleCare. The units also went through what the company describes as a rigorous refurbishment process, which involves several steps. This includes detailed inspection, repairs, cleaning and proper repackaging.

The publications noted that there are better deals for the 2016 MacBook Pro available at varying online stores. However, the real payout is that the refurbished units come directly from Apple itself.
