Here's How To Fix The Multiple Blood Moons In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Blood moons have proved to be more of a nuisance in Zelda: Breath of the Wild as some players have been experiencing it constantly. However, there is actually one way to prevent this glitch from happening.

Fixing The Blood Moon Bug

The blood moon is unique to Breath of the Wild as it respawns all of the enemy camps and defeated foes across Hyrule. This way, players will not grow tired of the vast open world and will also find a way to provide a constant challenge to fans. This special moon should only rise about every seven in-game days but some unlucky players have been reporting that they get it every few seconds.

Luckily enough, there seems to be an easy fix for this bug that occurs when the console powers up from sleep mode, as per NintendoToday. All players need to do is simple turn off the console and turn it on again. For those unfamiliar, they just need to hold down the power button for five seconds and select the Power Options menu. From there, just choose turn off and then press the power button to power up the hybrid console again.

Unlucky Player Faces Ganon Again In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

The blood moon can be a major inconvenience during crucial times in the game, especially when the player is in the middle of something important. Similarly, Kotaku reports that one unlucky player even got the moon during his final fight with Ganon. Twitch streamer rwntv was ready to land the final blow on the beast when the animation began.

From there, Ganon regained his previous health, which led to another grueling fight with the final boss. Despite its complications, fans can farm for items after the event and the blood moon actually grants food bonuses when cooking. Those who want to experience the event for themselves can play Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Wii U or Nintendo Switch.
