Australia's top-rating crime flick, "Wentworth," has recently released its fifth season official trailer. The video teased how Allie turns into a cold-blooded inmate as she plots revenge against Joan Ferguson. However, getting back at The Freak might be more difficult than Allie expected as Kaz Proctor warns the ladies about touching Ferguson.
As many fans expected, Allie Novak will not receive the news about Bea Smith's death very lightly as she can be seen weeping in the "Wentworth" season 5 official trailer. Like most spoilers had it, Allie will plot a revenge against her lover's killer where most of the inmates are with her on her big fight. However, things might be more difficult as the inmates forgot that they have a new top dog to govern over the prison rules.
The synopsis of the new installment of "Wentworth" revealed that Kaz Proctor takes over Bea's most coveted post as the prison's top dog. Although she was introduced as a friend and ally of the late Bea Smith, she declares in the promo that Joan Ferguson will not be touched - at least not according to her rules. The overview also said that Kaz will be challenged by her responsibility to maintain the peace inside Wentworth prison and it seems like she will strictly oblige to her duties even if it means sacrificing her friendship with other inmates.
Elsewhere in the trailer, it was mentioned that Ferguson is a "ghost" which might mean that she has been hiding ever since she murdered Bea Smith. In a chance, though, The Freak came out of her nook and Bea Smith can be seen jumping to attack while a voiceover says "one cannot deny the animal within."
With Allie and the other inmates planning to exact their revenge on Joan, speculations suggest that the former governor might meet her end in the upcoming season of "Wentworth." The installment titled "Revenge will set them free" is guessed by many to mainly focus on Allie making things difficult for Joan inside Wentworth. With a new peacekeeper though, Allie might also find herself in grave danger in "Wentworth" season 5 which will start airing episodes on April 4.
