‘Fairy Tail Dragon Cry' Anime Film Gets Another Full Trailer; New Footage Revealed

A new full trailer has just been released for the up and coming animated film, “Fairy Tail Dragon Cry”. The said trailer revealed new footage, featuring the origin of the Dragon Cry, and promoted the manga's final arc.

The movie’s distributor, GAGA, recently released a whole new full trailer. It featured more scenes from the anticipated animated film. The new teaser heads on to introduce the Dragon Cry, which is the focal point of the story, and reveals the Grave of The Dragons that has already been shown in the earlier chapters and episodes of both the manga and anime series.

It is said that the magical artifact Dragon Cry, which possessed power enough to destroy an entire world, can be found in the Grave of The Dragons. The teaser further revealed that once the power is used, it will call on dragons to come down to earth. The said trailer also featured the main characters of the series preparing for the final battle, which shows to be a huge and difficult one.

Is “Fairy Tail Dragon Cry” The End Of The Series?

Hiro Mashima, creator of the “Fairy Tail” manga series, has already revealed that the manga is on its final arc. Though it has yet to be clarified whether or not the movie is canon or officially part of the story, it has already been reported that “Fairy Tail Dragon Cry” has been promoting the climax of the manga series. With that said, it is probable that the said anime movie will be the end of the manga series that fans have been preparing for.

“Fairy Tail Dragon Cry” was announced as early as May 2015 and it has already been slated to release in Japan on May 6 this year. It has been announced that it will also be released in theaters in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand but premiere dates have not been decided. The said anime film will introduce new characters namely Animus, Sonya, and Zash Caine, who will all be playing roles that are vital to the film’s story.
