Another new official update has just been released for “Dragon Ball Super”. It reveals more details on an upcoming episode. It elaborates the initial teaser that was released for Episode 85.
Universe 7 To Experience The Wrath Of Gods
New official updates were just released, which revealed more spoilers for “Dragon Ball Super” Episode 85, titled "The Universes Get Into Gear, Each One's Thoughts". It is scheduled to air on April 9. The said anime series is currently in its Universe Survival Arc and the participating universes are getting ready for the upcoming Tournament of Power.
There was an earlier teaser for the said episode, teasing that the Gods of Destructions as well as the Supreme Kais, also known as Kaioshins, will be convening in Universe 11. The latest update finally reveals the reason why. The Supreme Kais are divided with mixed opinions about the Tournament of Power and some have even tried talking to Zen-Oh, the Omni King to reconsider his decision.
However, the Gods of Desctruction, except for Beerus, have decided to gang up on Goku and destroy his home, which is Universe 7. Goku has clearly made more unnecessary enemies and problems than he can handle and this revelation just heats up everything. The Tournament of Power has obviously gotten the other universes to be really nervous especially when their existence is on the line.
Will Champa Betray Beerus?
With the Gods of Destruction teaming up against Beerus and Universe 7, things will get messier before or even during the said tournament and this will pose more problem for Team Universe 7. Whis has hinted this in an earlier episode of "Dragon Ball Super", saying that the universes will be targeting Goku and will be out to get him. It is confusing though as to why the Gods of Destructions are keen on destroying Goku’s universe since even with the Tournament of Power, only one of the participating universes will win and survive.
The scheme is most likely revenge for getting entangled with Goku's crazy ideas and also to lessen the competition in the Tournament of Power. The most intriguing thing about the conspiracy is that Champa is reportedly part of it. However, this seems very unlikely since though he doesn't like Goku, he never gave off a villainous vibe. He is also Beerus’s twin brother and the universe he oversees, which is Universe 6, is pretty much close with Universe 7.
Given how the said anime series has been throwing unexpected progress, it wouldn’t be a shock if Champa went out of his way to warn Beerus about the gods’ plan to destroy Universe 7. He could also do something that would thwart the conspiracy. Aside from that, Champa highly respects the Omni King and the last thing he wants to do is to enrage him.
