A Fresh Pirate Of The Caribbean Mobile Game Is Coming

One of the most highly anticipated films for 2017 is the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. However, it does not end there as a new mobile game, which is heavily inspired by the original series, is going to be released on both iOS and Android platform this May - a simultaneous release with the film.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Tides Of War

A fresh mobile game titled, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is currently under development by Joycity and is described as an MMO game that incorporates strategy elements on its gameplay. The game will feature characters and ships based on the original franchise, which means that players will be able to interact with the iconic Jack Sparrow and may even commandeer the legendary Black Pearl.

Moreover, the game's storyline will be heavily based on the entire plot of the movie franchise. As reported by Gamespot, just like how things get rough and merry in the franchise, the game will also feature the thrill and excitement that players are expecting in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean series. Aside from Jack Sparrow, it will also feature Will Turner, Captain Barbossa and Elizabeth Swann.

Gameplay

As far as gameplay is concerned, COO of Joycity, Hanseo Jo said, "We're confident that this mobile game will align with the quality and high entertainment value that fans have come to expect from the Pirate of the Caribbean franchise." The COO then proceeded to give a brief summary of the game: the player will start as a pirate, building ships and acquiring swashbucklers along the way. He will then set on numerous quests and adventures to conquer monsters and even battle against human players.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is now available for pre-registration. Players that pre-register will acquire 2,000 Gold after they reach a certain level in-game. The game will be simultaneously released with the Dead Men Tell No Tales this May!
