It has been widely reported that Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 will cost consumers over $1000 at retail because of new features such as the OLED display and new 3D sensors. According to a recent report, a new investor note from UBS analyst Steven Milunovich disputes earlier reports and says the Apple iPhone 8 will arrive in for less than $1000. According to a source, Apple has allegedly ordered 70 million OLED displays for this year, proof enough that the company is obviously targeting high demand for the new iPhones.

According to Milunovich, Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 will still come at a premium compared to the previous generation iPhone lineup, however, not as expensive as once thought. He also claims that the factory cost of the 64GB iPhone 8 will be $70 to $90 higher compared than the equivalent iPhone 7s Plus model which presumably the 32GB variant. Moreover, Milunovich claims the device will arrive with a sticker price around $850 and $900 for consumers.

Interestingly, Apple's new iPhones are also set to get a new design, reports suggested previously that the handsets will feature a glass back and will come with a stainless steel chassis. More so, this will be biggest product launch for the company in some years Apple's next iPhone will reportedly feature a whole host of new thrilling features, one of which will be a stunning OLED display.

Additionally, Apple's highly anticipated iPhone 8 will have an almost bezel-less display which said, the fingerprint sensor moves either straight to the display or at the back of the device. An improved Apple processor and more RAM will be seen. A new and improved cameras including a 3D camera and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the display are also expected. More so, there are rumors that the iPhone 8 will come with wireless charging and water resistant. This explains why the upcoming iPhone 8 will become expensive but not a whopping $1,000 in retail.
