Smite Adds New Mario Kart-Themed Game Mode; Details Here

Hi-Rez Studio's free-to-play MOBA Smite will have its brand new patch this coming Tuesday, which will feature several new additions to the game. The upcoming 4.6 patch includes a new game mode called Apollo's Racer Rumble and some new skins that fans would absolutely enjoy.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the new game mode is said to be Mario Kart-inspired. For those who are a fan of the classic racing game, it features a wacky go-kart racer, which includes power-ups, stage obstacles and more. Now, fans can experience it in the popular MOBA.

The Apollo's Racer Rumble mode is only available for a month similar to previous adventure game that has been released in Smite a few weeks ago. For premium players who want to spend their money for cosmetic updates, they can purchase the bundle for only 900 gems. It features the exclusive Winner's Circle skin for Apollo, Racer Pedestal, Music theme, Racer Award, Gold Key and bonus rewards that could grant players an exclusive skin.

Aside from the new adventure mode bundle, several new skins have also been added to the game featuring Chang e's Princess Leia-esque skin. These new skins are Amazon for Athena, Chang e with her Intergalactic Chang e skin, Mastery Skins for Cernunnos, Serpent Slayer for Susano and Eager Consoles World Champ for Ratotaskr.

Finally, as usual, the patch features some tweaks on the present gods in Smite. However, this new patch is pretty light and more focused on quality of life changes since the Spring LAN would arrive soon.

On other Smite news, players on the console are still waiting for the arrival of 4.5 patch that features the Egyptian mini-event and the Poseidon re-work. It is expected that the patch would arrive later this week being the earliest. Meanwhile, the 4.6 patch on the console might arrive in three weeks since it brings a big feature to the game.
