Ram will brighten up the show floor at the 2017 New York International Auto Show with two new bright colors for 2017 Ram 1500 pickup trucks. The Lime Green of the Ram 1500 Sublime Sport and the cool Cerulean Shade of the Ram 1500 Rebel Blue Streak are sure to lure attention. Both will arrive at dealerships in May.
In a recent report, Head of Ram Truck, FCA Global, Mike Manley, said "Truck buyers are looking for new features and colors that make a statement and will allow them to stand out from the crowd. Manley also added, "Whether it's the off-road enthusiast appeal of the Ram 1500 Rebel or the luxury and sophistication of the Ram Limited, Ram trucks deliver features and durability that are winning over more and more owners."
The new 2017 limited-edition Ram 1500 Sublime Sport package will arrive with a stunning green monochromatic exterior with a body-color grille. Moreover, the all new 2017 Ram 1500 Sublime models are set to feature a sport-performance hood with Black Ram's head grille badge, Black tailgate badge, Black wheels, and also Black body-side badges. Big 22-inch Black aluminum wheels are available for the first time, however, two-wheel drive only, 20-inch wheels on four-wheel drive. The Lime Green of the exterior carries over to the interior as an accent color for head restraints, seat inserts and badging.
If Green isn't your taste, then maybe Blue will be right for you. For the first time, Ram 1500 Rebels will be offered with the Blue Streak exterior paint along with black anodized bezels on the doors, instrument panel, gauge rings and center control panel. Also, It can be ordered with the Rebel Black appearance package, includingBblack decals on the hood, and Black wheels, grille, brush guard and badging. More so, other options which will include two-tone Blue Streak/Black exterior paint and black leather seats with Slate Gray accent stitching.
Just only limited 3,000 units of the bright-green 2017 Ram 1500 Sports will be produced by the company. Furthermore, the Ram 1500 Sublime Sport package with Crew Cab V-8 models will become available at a starting MSRP of $45,740, plus $1,395 destination.
