'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Spoilers: Rick Gets Really Drunk; What's Next For The Adult Swim Show?

It has been more than a month since Adult Swim pulled a reverse April Fool’s prank on fans and actually revealed the official first episode of “Rick and Morty” Season 3. However, the next episodes will reportedly air this summer and fans are itching to get updates.

“Rick And Morty” Gets Too Real

The most recent update for “Rick and Morty” has been revealed to be behind-the-scenes tidbits. Last April 1, Adult Swim shocked fans with delight when it released the real “Rick and Morty” Season 3 episode 1. Not only was it the first episode, it was also the network’s way of announcing that a new installment has been confirmed after no news was released about it.

With the third season clearly in the works, it has been revealed that one of the creators of the show worked on a scene with Rick getting really drunk. A special featurette showed that the voice actor behind Rick’s character, Justin Roiland, actually got drunk in real life that he delivered the scene too well. The featurette was a great treat for fans because it showed that the production is as fun as the show.

What’s Next For “Rick And Morty” Season 3?

“Rick and Morty” Season 3 may have kicked off after airing its first episode in April but it will be a while till fans get to see the next episodes. Adult Swim revealed that the rest of the season will be out sometime in summer. The second episode has already been revealed to be titled “Rickmancing the Stone” and written by Jane Becker.

After what went down in the first episode of the new season, it’s still hard to see what’ll come next especially when “Rick and Morty” is a show with an unconventional plot. However, many are sure that Birdperson will be returning as Phoenix Person and will most likely go against Rick. Other characters might show up, too, especially those that have gone under the rock for a while but many are determined that the next season will focus on Rick’s mental state, developing the plot to something dark and deep.
