'Fallout 4' Free To Play On Xbox One, Steam Along With Discounts

Fallout 4 is arguably one of the best titles Bethesda has ever developed. Now, interested gamers have a chance to experience the thrill of playing it. How exactly? Well, check this out.

According to PCGamer, players who have been hoping to get hold of the post-nuclear future-themed Fallout 4, Bethesda has some great news for them. That is because the studio has just started giving gamers access to the game, and they all have until May 28 to do so. Remember: this is for free, no cost at all.

The free weekend started last May 25 at around 7 AM ET. It will run until May 28 at precisely 10 AM ET. During this period, players can gain full access to the game, including all of its base contents and mods. Interestingly, if players decide to purchase it at the end, they will be able to grab the game as well as the season pass, which is on sale at 67 percent off. This sale pricing, in particular, will be on display until May 29 at around 7 AM ET, as noted by Polygon.

IGN, on the other hand, notes that the free trial, sadly, will not be available to PlayStation 4 players. Nonetheless, they will be treated to the discount as mentioned earlier, enough to give them a chance to purchase the base game.

It is worth noting that the Fallout 4 developer Bethesda will be making its way to the largest gaming expo in the country called E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). The studio's schedule of presentation will be on Sunday, June 11 at exactly 7 PM PT. It remains a mystery as to what exactly the video game company will present. There are rumors about The Elder Scrolls 6 making its debut here, but as long as it remains unofficial, it should be taken with a grain of salt.
