GoPro Hero 6 'Is Gonna Be Bitchin', CEO Says

The GoPro Hero 6 "is gonna be bitchin'," according to Nick Woodman, the company's CEO and a man with a way with words. Woodman has confirmed that the company is in the process of developing the GoPro Hero 6 and he is confident that it will be a success.

While Woodman did confirm the existence of the GoPro Hero 6 back in February, he did not go into too many details. In fact, the only thing the colorful GoPro CEO can say about the Hero 6 is that it will have better colors. Woodman said that the company is making "significant advancements" with regards to the color in the Hero 6.

While at the Mountain Games, Woodman also told the press, "you all are gonna flip. You're gonna love it." Mashable also reported that Woodman discussed other things at the Mountain Games chat other than the GoPro Hero 6. Woodman also talked about the GoPro Fusion, an upcoming 360- degree action camera.

ValueWalk noted that GoPro is not doing well as of late. The company behind such hits as the Hero5 Black, Hero Session, and the Hero5 Session has had to deal with the Karma drone recall, issues in production, and an underwhelming performance in the market since the previous year. As a matter of fact, GoPro's stock value fell from $86 in 2014 to only $8 right now. As a result of the company's downward spiral, GoPro was forced to let go of hundreds of employees and dissolving the company's entertainment division. Such issues have put Woodman under a bad light with some pundits saying the CEO may not actually be that capable of heading GoPro.

Woodman is in high spirits, however, thanks to the upcoming GoPro Hero 6. The "bitchin'" action camera is expected to be released by the end of the year.
