Horizon Zero Dawn: Upcoming The Frozen Wilds DLC Features Treacherous Mystical Lands; A New Enemy To Appear?

Horizon Zero Dawn upcoming The Frozen Wilds DLC had been confirmed by Sony last Monday night during its E3 press conference. The tech giant revealed that this new update will roll out new treacherous mystical lands and hints of a new enemy coming.

This New DLC Will Bring More Difficult Challenges To Aloy

The Frozen Wilds DLC will bring the adventures of Aloy, the main protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn to a higher level. She is apparently seeking answers about her past. The reveal trailer shown by Sony at the E3 2017 event showed her asking a shaman about a certain mountain where smoke is belching from its crate-like mouth.

But the problem is, the volcanic mountain is guarded by a horde of mechanical beasts. These machines are among the antagonists of Horizon Zero Dawn as its many fans know very well. The trailer hints that Aloy will be facing off with these giant mechs if she wants to climb this smoke-laden mountain.

New Weapons And Armors Are Added

Horizon Zero Dawn's upcoming The Frozen Wilds DLC will be story-based. And from the way Sony announced this update, it looks like there will be different weapons and new types of armors that gamers will be able to use. For what? Possibly to take down a new enemy or a group of them.

The Frozen Wilds DLC will apparently make alloy travel and trespass into treacherous mystical lands covered in snow. And it won't be an easy road trip. In this upcoming update of Horizon Zero Dawn, she will try to get some answers about her past. Apparently, the smoke-belching mountain, which appears to be alive, has them.

Will Aloy Face A More Formidable Enemy?

Fans of the game will recall that Aloy wants to save the world from Hades. And by the end of Horizon Zero Dawn, Sylens has joined Hades. Some gamers believe that Hades is far from being dead. So, will The Frozen Wilds DLC bring the two evil characters against Aloy, making her quests more difficult to fulfill? This DLC is slated for release this year, so fans will have to watch out for the latest updates.
