Donald Trump's Truth Social App has received overwhelming support from his fans, which resulted to most interested users being on the waitlist.

With the rising number of waitlisted supporters, it is important to note that there is a possibility that this might take long since the Truth Social App plans to be fully operational by the end of March.

Donald Trump Truth Social App Gets Overwhelming Support

The Truth Social App, which is owned by The Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), was rolled out on the Apple Play Store Sunday night.

Several reports stated that this might be a possible comeback for the former U.S. president after numerous social media platforms suspended his account. Since Trump is known for being active on social media to voice out his opinions, it appears that he also wants U.S. citizens to do the same without being suppressed.

In a Twitter post of one of Donald Trump's legal team Jenna Ellis, the lawyer posted a photo showing a huge number of Truth SocialApp supporters with a caption that reads "Breaking: in less than 3 hours, over 85k users are in the queue to join Truth Social."

It has been hours since that post and sure enough, the number of Trump's social media app supporters is still growing.

For instance, Twitter user Beth Baumann shared that she finished signing up for an account and was surprised that the number of people just hit more than 220,000.

Defining the benefits that the Truth Social App brings, another Twitter user said that "this is going to be the biggest arena for all conservatives and free speech living folks all over the world."

Despite the claim, he mentioned that he was having some issues signing up from Apple Play Store but he will keep trying to get in, adding that he can't wait for his voice to be heard.

As of writing, the Twitter post has accumulated more than 6,000 likes and above 1,000 quote-tweets.

Moreover, the former acting director of the United States National Intelligence, Richard Grenell, clarified that at first, the app was restricting the number of signups each day, advising supporters to be patient and join up early.

With the massive amount of support, several Twitter users reported that they could not get into the site. Some also mentioned that they are being transferred to the waiting list.

Why Are You on the Waitlist?

According to a report from HITC, Truth Social was the most popular app on the App Store early Monday after it went live before Sunday midnight. The app was instantly downloaded to the smartphones of those who have pre-ordered the app.

However, those who have been placed on the waitlist received a prompting message of "Due to massive demand, we have placed you on our waitlist."

Since the app is new, the description noted that the current version of Truth Social is 1.01, which includes "bug fixes."

When Will Donald Trump's Social Media Be Fully Operational?

For those curious to know when will Donald Trump's social media be fully operational, the Trump loyalist who heads Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) Devin Nunes said on Fox News (through The Guardian) that their target date is by the end of March.

Nunes believed that they will meet the target date at least within the United States.
