‘The Batman’ a Dark Knight Movie Returns: When Will Robert Pattinson’s Film Be Available for Streaming?

Bruce Wayne, THE Batman, is back again in Gotham City!

After several delays, "The Batman" movie premieres today (March 4). One of DC's acclaimed movies will hit theaters again under the direction of Matt Reeves. This new Batman film is slated to have a resemblance with the classic Batman story.

Bruce Wayne will be played by Robert Pattinson. Known for his role as a vampire in "Twilight," the 35-year-old actor seeks to solidify himself as a serious superhero rather than a teen heartthrob.

This Batman 2022 movie will also star Wayne's butler and mentor Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz), GCPD Lieutenant James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), and the Riddler (Paul Dano).

'The Batman' on HBO Max or Netflix?

Since the pandemic began, movie streaming became the go-to option of new movie releases. It developed a new wave of movie-watching culture. An option where fans can enjoy their movies from home or from anywhere.

The DC Comics Batman movie will hit theaters today and it will be unlikely to hit streaming platforms with the same-day release in theaters. Although HBO Max is the most likely place where people will look first since the platform has carried numerous DC films in the past.

The Batman movie is distributed by Warner Brothers. Robert Pattinson's movie will most likely be available on HBO Max rather than Disney+ or Netflix. Streaming on HBO is most likely releasing since Warner Bros and HBO Max are both a unit of the same company AT&T.

CNET reported that Warner Bros. follows a 45-day window for all of its movies before it streams to the HBO Max platform. This policy allows movies to distribute in theaters first worldwide, and after 45 days in theaters, the movie will be made available to HBO Max.

Although it is important to note that not all films are obligated to release in streams as soon as the 45 days have passed by.

Another streaming policy that Warner Bros. implements is releasing films in HBO Max after 5 months from their movie releases.

If the studio decides to put "The Batman" on Max as soon as the 45-day theatrical exclusivity period is over, The Batman would be available to stream on the service sometime in mid-April, assuming the 45-day theatrical exclusivity period ends.

It is possible that The Batman will be available to stream on Max sometime in June, July, or August if the production schedule is followed by the usual five-month pattern.

'The Batman' 2022 Movie

As seen in "The Batman" trailer, the movie begins with an unsettling scene in Gotham city in the Mayor's house. In an exclusive with CNET, director Matt Reeves stated that he wanted the audience to feel what it is like being in the shoes of the characters.

Unlike Batman Begins, "The Batman" will tell the story of Bruce Wayne's second year as the Caped Crusader.

The movie directed by Matt Reeves will tell the story of Batman's attempt to stop the Riddler, a dangerous new adversary preying on Gotham City's most powerful citizens and institutions.

On this thrilling journey, Batman will be accompanied by Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) and James Gordon, as the three of them attempt to understand what the Riddler's ultimate goal is and how it will affect the city of Gotham.
