Apple, Comcast: Apple TV+ Now Available on Xfinity!

Finally! Comcast announced that Apple TV+ is now made available on Xfinity just yesterday, March 7.

In addition to this surprise, Xfinity customers will also have an exclusive peek at some of the most popular Apple TV+ original shows starting March 15.

Apple and Comcast Brings Apple TV+ to Xfinity

In the recent statement from Comcast, it announced that Apple TV+ will be accessible on Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, and XClass TV, and it will eventually be available on all eligible devices.

Surprisingly, beginning on March 15 until March 21, Apple will give Xfinity customers an exclusive first peek at some of the most popular Apple TV+ original shows and films across X1, Flex, and Stream, with no need to join up or check-in.

Comcast noted that "Xfinity customers will be able to enjoy the first seasons of many of its most popular shows, as well as the blockbuster Apple Original film 'Greyhound.'"

Additionally, subscribers who sign up for Apple TV+ through their Xfinity device before Apr. 25 will receive a three-month free trial.

Apple TV+

For those unfamiliar with the Cupertino-based technology giant owned streaming platform, Apple explained on their website, "Apple TV+ is a streaming service featuring Apple Originals - award-winning series, compelling dramas, groundbreaking documentaries, kids' entertainment, comedies, and more - with new Apple Originals added every month."

With regards to the subscription, Pocket-Lint stated that Apple TV+ may be subscribed to and watched using the Apple TV app, and can be accessed on a variety of devices.

The standalone family subscription to Apple TV+ costs $4.99 per month.

For those who purchased a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV, Pocket-Lint also noted that Apple offers a free one-year trial of Apple TV+.

Aside from the standalone subscription, the streaming platform also offers a bundle plan named Apple One.

Last October 2020, Apple introduced a services bundle that includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and Fitness+. Since its introduction, Apple TV+ has become a part of the three Apple One bundle tiers: Individual, Family, or Premier.

The Individual plan costs $14.95 per month which includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage.

While the Family plan costs $19.95 a month. To emphasize, it can be used by up to six members of the family and enjoy Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade, as well as 200GB of iCloud storage.

Meanwhile, the Premier plan costs $29.95 per month for all of the mentioned Apple entertainment bundles plus 2TB of iCloud storage and subscriptions to News+ magazine and newspaper service and the recently announced Fitness+ service.

In terms of Apple TV+ availability, it is available across all the Apple devices as well as Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Sony, Roku, Fire TV, and more.

To provide further details, the said binge-worthy movies to watch on Apple TV+ includes "The Banker," "Palmer," "Dads," "Greyhound," and "On The Rocks."
