As per a news story by DotEsports, some of the games of Activision Blizzard Entertainment, which are using the Battle.net service of the gaming firm, such as World of Warcraft and Overwatch, experienced a widespread global outage.

However, it is worth noting that another game, which also runs under Battle.net, is reportedly free from any server issues as of writing.

As such, players of both Overwatch and World of Warcraft have grappled with logging in to their accounts. Instead, they are greeted with prompts saying that the server connection of the game has failed.

Some users playing games during the outage have been kicked out from their ongoing matches, wherein they were notified regarding the connection mess.

Meanwhile, according to the latest report by MP1st, an Overwatch subreddit has been flooded with players blurting out their frustrations on the connection login issues.

One Reddit user shared that he was also kicked out in the middle of his Overwatch game. He also attached a screenshot of the prompt that showed up after being booted out, which says that the player is "in queue." Plus, there were "5,000 players ahead" waiting to enter.

Apart from that, other Reddit users were also echoing server error complaints, saying that they have been kicked out from their matches, and could no longer sign back in.
