Is the Xbox Game Pass Already Free for Some Users

Xbox gamers are thrilled with the video gaming brand's announcement this April that its Game Pass is free for some users.

Users on PC are delighted with the news as it is not available for everybody. The offer of Xbox Game Pass is limited to those on PC that have played either Age of Empires IV, Halo Infinite, or Forza Horizon 5. It's also free to those first time subscribers.

However, users who are on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X will not get to enjoy the Xbox Game Pass as it is not available to them.

Xbox Users Can Redeem Three Months Game Pass

Xbox users on PC and first time users can redeem three months of Game Pass according to the post of Xbox in their official Twitter account.

Microsoft expressed it gratitude to users, thus, saying "Thank you for playing and supporting the success of our most recent PC games from Xbox Game Studios. If you have played Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, or Age of Empires IV on the PC from launch until February 28 2022, we are giving you a 3-month trial of PC Game Pass (new members only) to show our appreciation," as per ComicBook.com.

This is not new to Xbox users because this is not the first time that the video gaming brand made this type of offer. This is, however, the first time in a while.

Like before, it's unclear yet as to how long this offer is going to be available. Xbox does not disclose information about it.

The Xbox Game Pass offer is for the base version of the subscription service only. It is not for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which comes with EA Play, Xbox Live Gold, and more for an extra $5 a month. The offer also excludes Russia and India.

For $10 and $15 a month, respectively, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are available via Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.

The video gaming brand said that they got the users covered on all the games they can play soon. They also promised updates for the ones gamers are already playing.

Three of the total seven games are available to play right now, which include F1 2021, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. The first two are through EA Play while the later was a surprise release on Xbox Game Pass.

The other games that will be available this month are 7 Days to Die, Research and Destroy, Bugsnax and Unsouled.
