How to Watch Every 'Star Wars' Movie and Series Chronologically — Where Does 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Fall?

Not many franchises can say that they have stood the test of time and still be successful even after decades have passed. One such franchise is "Star Wars."

The space epic has gone a long, long way since George Lucase released the first film in the franchise in 1977. Ever since, more movies, tv series, and video games have been added to the franchise, which fans across generations have grown to love.

However, with "Star Wars'" ever-expanding story, it can be hard to keep track of it altogether. Which happened before what? Did the story of this movie come before or after the story of this TV series?

It can get super confusing, which is why we put together a little guide on how you can watch the different "Star Wars" films and TV series in order, especially if you are planning on binge watching them on Disney+.

How to Watch Every 'Star Wars' Movie and Series Chronologically

The list of Star Wars movies and TV series easily reaches more than a dozen. It can be pretty daunting, but Polygon points out that the chronological order if the films and series "is how the events of the Star Wars universe happened on the BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin) / ABY (After the Battle of Yavin) timeline."

Polygon likewise points out that some of the movies and TV series actually happen simultaneously, but it cannot be helped as it is all part of the storytelling process.

Ready to see the list of "Star Wars" films and series in order? Here is the list, which includes the movies and TV series that have already been released:

Where Does 'Obi-Warn Kenobi,' Other Series Fall in the Order?

There may be some of you who are wondering where the upcoming Disney+ "Star Wars" series will fall in the timeline.

According to an article by Screen Rant, the upcoming "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series, which features the return of Ewan McGregor to the "Star Wars" universe" as the titular character, is set 10 years after the events of "Episode III."

It can be safe to assume that, as far as the the order above is concerned, "Obi-Wan Kenobi" will fall in after "Revenge of the Sith" and near "Star Wars Rebels." This is because the story of "Star Wars Rebels" also takes place over a decade after "Episode III."

As for the other "Star Wars" Disney+ series, we have "Andor" and "Ahsoka." "Andor" is set around five years prior to the events of "Rogue One," making it the latter's prequel. If we put that in the order listed above, it will obviously fall before "Rogue One."

On the other hand, not much is known regarding "Ahsoka's" story as of press time. However, it has been said that the series' story happens alongside "The Mandalorian" and "The Book of Boba Fett," which gives the audience an idea of where it falls in the franchise's timeline.
