Pokémon Go Fest 2022

According to Gamespot, Niantic has announced that the next destination for Pokémon Go Fest 2022 will take place in Seattle, Washington from July 22 to 24.

Ticket Availability

Unlike previous Pokémon Go events, this one is ticketed and only open to folks who can attend in person in Seattle. Tickets are on sale now for $25 for one day of the three-day event, with participants only allowed to purchase tickets for one day of the event.

However, Go Fest raids such as Cresselia and Darkrai will be available to all trainers, even if they do not have a ticket.

Event Location

The forthcoming event will take place in both Seattle Center Park and the city of Seattle, with each day being divided into two sessions at each location.

Ticketing Rules

Ticketing is a little more complicated than it is for most Pokémon Go Fest events because of the two locations. Trainers can purchase a morning session, in which players will spend the first half of the day in the park and the second half in the city, or an afternoon session, in which players will spend the first half of the day in the city and the second half in the park.

The following are some of the city's events:

  • There will be a second Special Research story available, with a prize encounter with a Pokémon that has yet to emerge in Pokémon Go.
  • Earn up to nine Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at gyms.
  • The appearance of Team GO Rocket balloons will increase, and defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts will reward you twice as many Mysterious Components.

The following bonuses will be available to ticket holders:

  • Eggs will require one-half their normal Hatch Distance.
  • Event-themed Field Research will be available.
  • By spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts, you'll be able to obtain event-themed stickers.
  • Confetti will be appearing on the in-game map.

Next Pokémon Go Events

Pokémon Go Fest will also take place in Berlin and Sapporo, with more cities to be revealed soon.

Dates for the Next Community Days

In a separate Gamespot report, the dates for the next three Community Days have been revealed. This would allow trainers to prepare ahead to take advantage of the events' temporary bonuses and catch featured Pokemon.

The dates for Community Days in June, July, and August are as follows:

  • Saturday, June 25
  • Sunday, July 17
  • Saturday, Aug. 13

The new activities will be part of the upcoming season of Pokémon Go, which Niantic has yet to divulge any details about. However, there are still a few days left in the current Alola Season, with one last event stretching until May 31.
