What the LG's Star Wars C2 OLED TV Offers?

Expect some flashy design touches with LG's Star Wars C2 OLED TV.

You can also find an imperial logo on the back of the TV. There's also "stealthy, glossy touches around the bezels that recall Darth Vader's helmet," as per the Digital Trends report.

Moreover, prepare to receive "some software features like Empire-skinned navigation screens and the sound of Vader's breathing upon startup," according to the Digital Trends.

According to CNET, "the LG's Star Wars C2 OLED will include a themed Magic Remote, and its user interface will mimic the look of a lightsaber."

But, what's actually worth the $3,000 price is the special-edition numbered certificate and the overall collectible nature of this television unit. This is probably what fans of the franchise are after.

However, with the C2 OLED TV, watching any Star Wars content, including the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series, will be a great experience.

LG Will Sell Only 501 TVs in the US

In reference to the 501st Legion, the battalion of Storm Troopers that Darth Vader commanded in the franchise, only 501 units of LG's Star Wars C2 OLED television will be sold in the US.

To the fans delight, the special edition model has a Gallery Mode that features two collections of original Star Wars storyboard images, photographs, and art.

Dubbed The Conceptual Designs, the first collection features "storyboards of the trench run from A New Hope and the final duel from Return of the Jedi," according to TechRadar.

Called The Journey of Darth Vader, the second collection is "all art centered on pivotal Vader scenes throughout the series like his fight with Luke in Empire Strikes Back," as per the TechRadar report.

Perhaps you may be wondering if the display of the C2 OLED TV is any good. Reviews said it is. The non-Star Wars model displays in 4K Ultra HD resolution. For high-quality images, it also houses both Dolby Vision and HDR10.

The display also featured an LG's Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor.  The company boasted that it can "enhance color clarity, the shadows of nighttime scenes, and the visual fidelity of buildings."

In addition, gaming-specific features like NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and support for GEFORCE NOW are also present in the C2 OLED evo. Taking LG's statement about OLED evo C2, it's a pretty good unit.

You can get the base C2 OLED for $2,299. LG's Star Wars C2 OLED TV is priced at $3,000.
