It looks like the iPhone 5C won't be the only iPhone to come in more than two colors. New images have leaked of Champagne--colored iPhone 5S buttons.

Apple has always kept its iPhone lineup in two color choices - black and white - since the iPhone 3G. The company is expected to unveil a low-cost iPhone, which is being referred to as the iPhone 5C, in multiple color offerings. It follows Apple's brightly-colored designs found on its iPod shuffle, nano, and touch devices. We've seen multiple leaks of the plastic smartphone and have a pretty good idea of how it's going to look.

The iPhone 5S will retain the same anodized aluminum unibody case found on its predecessor, but just like the iPhone 5C, Apple plans on adding a new color choice to the iPhone 5S: Champagne. A new set of images has leaked that are reportedly destined for a new Champagne-colored iPhone 5S. As far-fetched as this may sound, we reported back in June that Apple was planning on adding a new gold color option to the iPhone 5S alongside the traditional black and white offerings.

The volume buttons match the current buttons found on the iPhone 5 and are different than the leaked iPhone 5C buttons. Champagne might seem like an odd color choice, but so were all-white smartphones up until a few years ago.

The iPhone 5S is expected to feature the same 4-inch 1136 x 640 IGZO IPS Retina Display and a fingerprint scanner on the display or home button. Apple will include its usual "S" upgrade features, such as a rumored high-end 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p recording and a Full HD front facing camera for images, video, and FaceTime. The smartphone is expected to use an A6 processor that will be clocked at a higher rate than the one found in the iPhone 5 and will also include 2GB of RAM to ensure it operates fast and smoothly. The 5S is also rumored to be getting a fingerprint scanner built into the display or home button.

We'll have to wait until September to see if Apple is really going to offer Champagne with the iPhone 5S.
