Anime is one of the things we will forever be grateful to Japan for. However, it cannot be denied that it was once so difficult to watch anime without having to pay fees. Well, those days are behind us now as it is possible to watch anime for free and on YouTube no less!

If you do not have the time or the patience (or both) to watch really long anime, here five examples with less than 15 episodes that are available for free on YouTube:

'My Roommate is a Cat'

Ever watched an anime told in the points-of-view of both a human and a cat. Well, if you think this is right up your alley, you should check out "My Roommate is a Cat."

Available on the Muse Asia YouTube channel, this 12-episode anime tells the story of an introverted mystery author named Mikazuki. He suddenly finds inspiration for his next novel in a stray cat, which he decides to take in as his roommate.

'No Game No Life'

Are you into different kinds of games? Well, "No Game No Life" is an anime that should definitely be part of your "must watch" list.

"No Game No Life" is 12 episodes long and follows the story of Sora and his stepsister, Shiro. After beating the god of games in chess, they suddenly find themselves in world called Disboard where everything is decided on through games.

'Salaryman's Club'

Sports animes have been very popular over the years. One particular anime you should watch if you happen to play or be a fan of badminton is "Salaryman's Club."

The story of this sports anime is about a badminton prodigy who is fired from his banking job when he causes the company's badminton team to lose a match. He is then recruited to play for another company and finds himself in a dilemma when a co-worker wants to be his doubles partner.

'Tada Never Falls in Love'

Only 13 episodes long, "Tada Falls in Love" tells the story of Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never fallen in love, who means a transfer student from Luxembourg named Teresa Wagner. As fate would have it, they end up attending the same school and in the same class.

'Talentless Nana'

Another anime that is only 13 episodes long, "Talentless Nana" is a perfect choice for any anime lover who prefers fantasy and supernatural elements in a story.

"Talentless Nana" is set in a remote school where children with supernatural abilities known as the Talented to study and train so that they can one day defeat what are referred to as Enemies of Humanity. A new student named Nana enters the school and quickly makes friends. However, what they don't know is she's actually a government assassin sent to kill the Talented.
