Clean AirPods Pro Case

Here are a few things to remember when cleaning the charging case of AirPods Pro:

  • Use a dry soft cloth to clean the case.

  • If needed, moisten slightly the cloth with either ethyl or isopropyl alcohol before using it as a wipe.

  • Dry thoroughly the charging case before using it.

  • Don't let the water or any liquid get into the charging ports.

Observe the following:

  • To get rid of the debris, if there is any, from the Lightning connector, use a brush that is dry, and clean, and the bristles are soft.

  • Avoid using abrasive materials for cleaning the case.

  • Avoid damaging the metal contacts of the charging ports by refraining from putting anything in the ports.

AirPods Pro Ear Tips

  • Clean the outside with a dry, clean lint-free cloth. A cotton swab is also a good material.

  • Use fresh water in rinsing the ear tips.

  • Remove the silicone ear tips by firmly pulling them to make sure that they are clean.

  • Use a clean cloth to make them dry.

  • Put them back into their proper place by pushing them until a click is heard.

Cleaning The AirPods: Important Things to Remember

Finally, a user must remember to be more careful in handling AirPods (1st and 2nd generation) that are not water-resistant or waterproof. Do not allow the AirPods to have contact with liquids or get wet with sweat during workouts.

But if it gets wet, dry it off with a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth. Dry the case by placing it upside down and leaving the lid open.

Don't forget that when in doubt about what to do, seek the help of someone who knows how to take care of AirPods Pro. Better still, visit an Apple Store.
