5 Video Game Love Songs To Play on Valentine’s Day

Love is about to be in the air and by now, if you've been following our Valentine's day tips, you probably have a gift and movie to give and watch with your chosen valentine.

However, nothing scream that you love someone quite like a love song. After all, a little embarassment doesn't hurt if you can show how much you love someone by learning how to sing a love song regardless if it came from a pop singer or a video game.

Here are love songs that you can find in video games for you to learn or even just play to set the mood with:

Beyond The Sky - Xenoblade Chronicles

A song that's equally suited to weddings and a video game's epilogue, "Beyond the Sky" is more or less a love song meant to comfort and assure someone they'll always be with them forever and ever.

The song sings about a person who remembers their loved one despite suffering through despair and that they await the time they'll be back by each other's side to comfort and love each other without ever parting from each other again.

Hikari - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

"Hikari," or "Simple and Clean" as it is known in the English-speaking world, is a song most prominently featured in Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts series. According to the Kingdom hearts Wiki, the song was featured in the first Kingdom Hearts game, Chain of Memories and their remakes, Kingdom hearts Re:coded, and most prominently, Birth by Sleep.

"Simple and Clean" could be considered a love song. Its message is about someone feeling so much love that they don't have to prove it to anyone else.

However, "Hikari," its Japanese counterpart is more romantic as it is about assuring someone they'll always be by their side and focusing on the love two persons have for each other.

The Wolven Storm - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The love story of the White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia, and Yennefer of Vengerberg is quite known worldwide thanks to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the source material's author, Andrzej Sapkowski.

Although reading through all the books can give you detailed information about their love story, many don't have the time to read so many books.

With The Witcher 3's song "The Wolven Storm," however, gamers are already treated to a crash course to the couple's love story, with Priscilla singing about Geralt's hardships and wish to love and be loved by Yennefer and vise versa.

The song feels like a love song as it shows that a person is willing to go through anything to be in their beloved's arms again.

At The End Of A Long Escape - Resident Evil 6

Jake Muller's ending theme in Resident Evil 6 may seem out of place, but its message is still a song that deserves recognition for being a song for hopelessly romantic couples.

The song basically tells the audience about Jake's dark and troubled past, something many people can relate to. However, the arrival of Sherry Birkin showed that he could be more than the mercenary he is, and is thankful to her for showing that to him.

Many couples met during difficult times, and Jake's ending theme, though untitled, is one of many songs that deserve to be recognized as a love song.

24 Hour Cinderella - Yakuza 0

The unlikeliest of video games has a love song of its own, and it is a banger.

"24 Hour Cinderella" may not sound like a traditional love song as it is the funniest love song from a game, according to Qualbert, but its heart is soul is in the right place, especially if Goro Majima sings it.

The song talks about a person who's so madly in love with a certain someone that loves them for their amazing qualities despite the hardships they face and the distance between them.

If that doesn't scream love, then Majima will help convince you otherwise.
