The Resident Evil 4 Remake is, as its name suggests, the remake of the original Resident Evil 4, which Capcom released for the GameCube in 2005. The story of the game follows one of the franchise's most iconic characters, Leon Scott Kennedy, as he travels to Spain to rescue the daughter of the president of the United States, Ashley Graham, after she was kidnapped by a cult.

Other characters in the game include Ada Wong, Ramon Salazar, Osmund Saddler, and the previously mentioned Jack Krauser and Luis Sera. Both Ada Wong and Leon Kennedy were first introduced to the fans of the Resident Evil franchise through Resident Evil 2

The original Resident Evil 4 game is often heralded as one of the best video games ever made. It even won multiple Game of the Year awards in 2005.

The remake, which was officially announced in June 2022, is scheduled for release on March 2024, 2023. It will be playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A VR mode will be available in the future, which will be exclusive for the PSVR 2.
