The Sims 4 Secret Worlds, Explained

The Sims 4 is the latest and fourth major title in The Sims series, developed by Maxis and published under Electronic Arts. 

With the base game becoming free-to-play last year, many people was enticed to try the game with some even buying extension packs to explore more storylines and unlock more characters. 

Avid The Sims 4 players have known for a while that there are various secret worlds within the game but what are some of the secret worlds and how does one get there?

Sylvan Glade 

Within the base game world, Willow Creek has a Foundry Cove which serves as the entrance to the hidden Sylvan Glade. 

Players should view, water, and chat with the majestic tree with enough times before they can enter the tree. However, players must choose the correct responses such as, Follow the Sound, Travel Downstream, Enter the Mist, and Travel to Glade, before they can unlock the secret world. 

Once inside, players will discover rare animals like the exclusive treefish, which deemed to be significant to the fishing collection. 

Forgotten Grotto 

Located at the Oasis Springs world, players can enter beyond the the Bloom Park or past the Landgraab's Affluista Mansion to discover the Forgotten Grotto. 

However, unlike the Sylvan Glade, players should have their Sim maximize their handiness skill to break through the wood-locked entrance. 

The entry also required correct responses such as, Take the Wide Path, Climb the Ladder, and Step onto the Ledge, before they can go inside. The Forgotten Grotto offers rare rocks, minerals, and exclusive batfish. 

Hermits's House in the Deep Woods 

Found inside the Granite Falls, this secret world is exclusive for players who bought the Outdoor Retreat game pack. 

To enter, the Sim must find the shrub hole and choose the prompts, Step Forward, Go Through the Web, Ignore the Object, Approach the Sim. 

Players should befriend the hermit, Elias Lance, to uncover exclusive animals like mountain lionfish, will-o-wisp insect.
