In line with the upcoming release of the live-action adaptation of "One Piece", Netflix launched a series of events before the series lands on the platform on August 31.
Starting August 24, Straws Hats will be united as the celebration will kick off in Los Angeles. Fans are encouraged to participate on "Pirates on the Pier" which grants attendees private access to rides, games, photo ops, and giveaways.

Straw Hats Unite Across the Globe
During the event, fans will be given an opportunity to get an exclusive look at the first episode of "One Piece" season 1. The first screening will be held at Santa Monica Pier and will start at 8:00 p.m.
Fans are also encouraged to dress as their favorite Straw Hat crew member. The event will grant free admission but an RSVP is required as the event will be on first come, first serve basis.
The event will also be held across other 9 countries including France, Indonesia, Japan, Italy, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, and Thailand. Germany is included on the list, Netflix advised that the event will be held virtually.
'One Piece' is Coming Soon
"One Piece" is originally based on Eiichiro Oda's bestselling manga. The story follows the adventure of the pirate Monkey D.
Luffy as he battles to become the King of the Pirates. Luffy is often accompanied by Straw Hats such as Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and more.
