We are sometimes taken by surprise to see famous actors in video games, suddenly turning us into that Leonardo DiCaprio meme pointing at the TV. Other times, the game becomes more interesting because of the fact. It's not uncommon, and here is a list of a few games who has Hollywood actors for characters.
1. Cyberpunk 2077
This one is no surprise since the trailers already showed that we'll be seeing Keanu Reeves a lot before its release. It was likely done on purpose so the game would sell better. It's a shame that the launch was a bit of a disaster because of all the bugs in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 has already redeemed itself after the bug fixes. A DLC is already on its way titled Phantom Liberty, and we will see yet another famous face this September 26th as Idris Elba plays the role of Solomon Reed.
2. Death Stranding
The main character in the game is played by no other than Norman Reedus, who you might recognize as Daryl Dixon in the post-apocalyptic zombie series "The Walking Dead." The open-world game was released back in March 2022 on Steam. You'll play the role of a porter who is tasked to deliver important cargo.
3. Beyond Two Souls
The game is a psychological action thriller developed by Quantic Dream. It was first released in 2013 and came to Steam in 2020. You'll actually recognize two faces in the game. One is of Ellen Page, who has now transitioned to Elliot Page, and Willem Dafoe, who is known for his role as the Green Goblin in the first "Spider-Man" movie series.
4. Detroit: Become Human
The game is set in futuristic world where human-like androids have become more prevalent. You'll play through three main characters in Detroit: Become Human namely Connor, Kara, and Markus. You might recognize Markus as he is played by Jesse Williams, who is also cast in "Grey's Anatomy" as Jackson Avery.
5. Dying Light 2 Stay Human
Dying Light 2 is yet another post-apocalyptic game where you have to fight through hordes of zombies and use parkour to escape them. You'll meet a lot of key NPCs. One of them named Lawan, who is also a potential love interest, is played by Rosario Dawson, known for her role as Ahsoka Tano in the show "The Mandalorian."

6. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The latest action RPG game from "Star Wars" features Cal Kestis, the main character who the player will be controlling. The red-headed Jedi was also in the 2019 video game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and is played by Cameron Monaghan. He was praised for his performance as Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska in the series "Gotham."
7. Until Dawn
The horror game revolves around eight friends who are trapped in a remote mountain retreat as their lives are threatened by a third party. Among those eight playable characters, you'll recognize Rami Malek, who takes on the role of Joshua. Malek is best known for his performance as Freddie Mercury in the biographical film "Bohemian Rhapsody."
