Most Powerful Characters in the Cyberpunk 2077 Universe

The Cyberpunk 2077 universe continues to expand as more content is released such as the recent expansion, Phantom Liberty. While there are other media like the anime series "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" and the book "No_Coincidence," we'll only focus on the game characters. Just a warning, there are spoilers ahead.

1. V

It goes without saying that V is one of the most powerful characters in the game. He/she beat Adam Smasher if you choose to storm Mikoshi in the base game. Adam Smasher pretty much beat everyone else. He managed to defeat several important characters depending on the ending you chose, and since V defeats him, the borged-out Arasaka solder is dethroned.

2. Songbird/So Mi

After the release of the expansion, we can easily say that getting on Songbird's bad side is the worst thing you can do. She is the most dangerous netrunner in the Cyberpunk game universe, but mostly because she technically cheats by accessing the Blackwall. She's also willing to use anyone to accomplish what she set out to do.

3. Adam Smasher

Since the corpo dog is mostly cyberware by now, he can beat most of the characters in the game. Combine his combat sim with all that hardware and ammunition, a fight with Smasher is one that you'll likely never walk away from. But, his cyberware is also what makes him weak since skilled netrunners like Songbird can incapacitate him without a sweat.

4. Johnny Silverhand

Before he was unfortunately zeroed by Soulkiller, Silverhand was a formidable opponent. There are people like Rogue who are willing to rally behind him to defeat the big bad corpos. While bitter and cynical, he gets how people think and how to deal with them, which is an important skill in Night City. He also has experience in combat during his time in the army.

5. Solomon Reed

Reed has the training and the knowledge of an FIA agent, along with his principles and patience. A man who sticks to his beliefs and thinks that they are doing what is right can be a terrible foe. With years in the field and connections, Solomon Reed can run circles around mercenaries in the Afterlife.

6. Kurt Hansen

Before he became the leader in Dogtown, Hansen was an NUSA Colonel during the war. On top of that, he's also smart enough to play politics and take control of an entire subdistrict. With BARGHEST soldiers ready to follow his orders and the cyberware he has on, Hansen deserved a place on the list.

7. Rogue Amendiares

Before she took ownership of the Afterlife and became the best fixer in Night City, she was also a solo, which means that she's more than capable of fighting. With the snap of a finger, she can make someone disappear no matter where they are in the city or acquire hard-to-find information through her netrunner.

8. Mr. Hands

During the base game, everyone thought that Mr. Hands was just another fixer like Wakako or El Capitan. He operated in his own district, namely Pacifica. However, we saw in Phantom Liberty that the fixer was smart enough to win the chess game that is politics in Dogtown, and it helps that he is also protective of his identity, given that he rarely reveals his face to just anyone.
