Rockstar Consistently Skips PC Launch

Rockstar Games is notorious for delaying the launch of the games on PC. Moreover, the press release that includes the launch window for the GTA VI emphasized its arrival to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Since the launch of GTA III in 2001, Rockstar has been consistent in putting a gap between its console and PC release. Most of the time it ranges from six to seven months with the GTA V having the longest delay with one year and six months.

While there is currently no specific date as to when in 2025 the game will be released, some fans believed that a GTA Online Easter egg hinted at an April 2025 reveal for GTA VI. Meanwhile, Take-Two's recent financial report estimated that a Q1 2025 launch is possible.

GTA VI Trailer Leaks Online Before Schedule

Rockstar had no choice but to unveil the first trailer of GTA VI after it was entirely leaked on X a day before its scheduled release. Fans were quick to get excited about the story of the two protagonists, Lucia and her boyfriend.

The trailer also revealed the franchise's return to Vice City, the place where Tommy Vercetti was first introduced. Over the years, many rumors have been flying around the GTA VI, and some of it was confirmed after the first trailer.

The upcoming release of GTA VI marks the franchise's longest interval between the series. The GTA V has already turned 10 years old this year and fans might have to wait longer to play the GTA VI on PC.
