LG's 2024 Gram Pro Laptops

Aside from the refreshed versions of the previous Gram models, LG is also introducing two new Gram Pro devices for the 2024 event, namely 16Z90SP and 17Z90SP. Both boast specs that can run heavy tasks with their high-quality components.

For the CPU, both Pro models are equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor with a hybrid architecture, along with an NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. Not only that, but it carries an edge in AI functions.

With the Intel AI Boost, the laptop's neural processing unit (NPU) can handle AI workloads even without an internet connection, which can be useful for those who work remotely and require the assistance of AI technology.

With AI features, it's possible that the laptop would run hot, but that's already taken care of as the LG Gram Pro models come with a dual cooling system. This comes in handy, especially with video editing software, which could stress your PC greatly.

This brings us to the display quality of the laptops. The Gram Pros come with 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and a Wide Quad XGA resolution IPS OLED display, all of which come with both 16-inch and 17-inch screens.

For connections, you can easily use the Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI available on the laptop. LG even boasts of its Gram Pro 2-in-1 winning the Guinness World Record for the lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop.

LG's 2024 Gram Laptops

LG is also introducing its standard Gram laptops, which are 17, 16, 15, and 14 inches, namely 17Z90S, 16Z90S, 15Z90S, and 14Z90S, respectively. They're advertised as having more convenient portability with a slender design, having a longer battery life, and being ultra-lightweight.

All the standard Gram models use Intel Core Ultra CPUs, NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs, and Intel Arc GPUs. The NVMe storage can go between 256 GB to 2 TB, depending on what you purchase. The models also support HD audio with Dolby Atmos.

For media consumption and work, LG suggests that the 17 and 16 models are better suited for users, while the 15 and 14 models offer "supreme transportability" and an equally satisfying user experience.

All models are suited for work video conferences as they come with FHD IR webcams with a display at 1920 x 1080, Dual Mic, and facial recognition. With the LG Gram Link, you'll be able to share files and photos with other LG devices automatically.

The bigger models' refresh rate can range from 60Hz to 144Hz, while the smaller models are capped at 60Hz. All four standard LG Gram models feature LG Glance by MIrametrix and LG Smart Assistant.
