CES 2024 to Tackle AI Integration on Electronics

Aside from product launches, the CES 2024 is also known for holding insightful conferences that developers and tech enthusiasts will surely enjoy. According to the schedule, various topics such as AI integration in entertainment, XR and AR streaming, and more will be discussed.

Meanwhile, several companies have started to introduce their new product innovation that spans from devices for the visually impaired to autonomous robots for your smart home. Each company has its own strategic way of integrating AI into its gadgets.

Consumers are expected to have an in-person experience with the new technology as the products will be revealed and have a demonstration during the event. Gadget makers are now racing to find the right formula to encourage consumers to invest in modern technology for their homes.

OpenAI Opens Opportunites for Generative AI Boom

There is no doubt about the massive impact of the success of OpenAI's generative AI. Despite the company's influence on the upcoming devices, OpenAI's CEO will not appear at the event.

On the other hand, OpenAI is reportedly working on a secret AI hardware project under the famous former Apple designer Jony Ive. "Consumers love ChatGPT, but the consumer benefit of having it on the device is not clear," said Jay Goldberg, chief executive of D2D Advisory.

Despite OpenAI's absence, automakers are expected to present an AI tool that can make the driving experience easier. Meanwhile, home electronics and gadget makers will also show off how AI can boost their product's efficiency.

"If your product doesn't have AI, don't pretend, it's not worth talking about," technology analyst at Lopez Research, Maribel Lopez, explained.

The CES 2024 event will run from January 9 to January 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
