'Battleborn' Update: Meet Pendles, The New Hero That Wears Sneakers

"Battleborn" has quickly gained a huge following since its release. And it seems that there is no stopping Gearbox, because the company continues to treat fans as a new character has been unveiled. Learn more about Pendles, the snake-like hero!

Just recently, Gearbox unleashed the water-expert warrior Alani. And sure enough, "Batlleborn" fans loved the hero, especially with her awesome healing capabilities. Nonetheless, only players with season pass can try her out. But if they can wait until the said hero's official rollout, which is May 31, they can see what she is truly up to.

But the "Battleborn" fun does not stop there! According to PC Gamer, Gearbox has again released another character that will make the game a bit more venomous. A new hero called Pendles has been introduced to the online first-person video game.

Pendles, in one way or another, is a snake. Well, the only difference is that he has two feet, allowing him to stand. And take note, this "Battleborn" hero is cool enough to wear sneakers! But make no mistake, he is not someone to be messed with.

LazyGamer reports that Pendles came from the water realm of Akopos and is a pal to Alani (the water warrior, yes). The new "Battleborn" hero is said to have the blood of a vicious killer. Not only can this character be deadly and sneaky, but he can also disappear in a blink of an eye.

While Pendles has been made known to the public, Gearbox is reportedly not planning to release him in "Battleborn" anytime soon. He is said to be introduced to the game in the next couple of months, and only players with season pass can try him out.

Just by looking at his bio, the new "Battleborn" hero is without a doubt an assassin of sorts. He might have those massive damage abilities along with a cloaking ability or whatnot. Well, until fans get to try him out, only then can they experience Pendles true abilities.
