'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child' Debuts This Saturday; 5 Facts About The Show Fans Need To Know

J.K. Rowling's saga and seventh book, "Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts One and Two" will premiere this Saturday in London's West End. The global staging and worldwide premier will be ahead of the release of the book's script version in the US.

The play is written by J.K. Rowling and Jack Throne. John Tiffany is the play's director. A preview was shown last July 7 but diehard fans remained discreet. Here are some important facts that any Harry Potter fan needs to know

Harry Potter, Father Of Three

The seventh book, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", is about Harry, now married and an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic. He is married to Ginny Weasley and the father of three.

His eldest son, Albus, is nervous as he prepares for his schooling at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry sets Albus off, with friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who are now married to each other.

His old nemesis Draco Malfoy was also present at the train station as he brings his own child off. Both Harry and Albus begin to realize that darkness is bound to come out unexpectedly.

J.K Rowling Worked With Tony Award Winner John Tiffany

 The play is bound to be excellent as John Tiffany's brilliance rubs on the production. Tiffany is famous for his rendition of "The Glass Menangerie" and won a Tony Award for "Once".

He also received recognition for his work in "Macbeth" from the National Theater of Scotland. His version of "Macbeth" was then transferred to Broadway.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" Will Be As Awesome As The Movie Series

Though other critics viewed the play as simplistic, a lot more reviews praised this theatrical adaptation of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" for its magical simulations. Special effects were made by Jeremy Chernick and Jamie Harrison.

Other details are unknown. According to Arthur A. Levine, Harry Potter's publisher, "That speaks to the almost familial identification fans have with Harry Potter. They wouldn't want to spoil surprises for anyone else."

New Generation Of Witches And Magicians Will Surprise Harry Potter Fans

 There are many surprising twists in the stage version of this famous novel. Hermione, or a role played by Emma Watson, is adapted by Noma Dumezweni. Hermione's daughter is played by Cherelle Skeete.

Other players include Alex Price to play Harry's nemesis Draco Malfoy. His son, Scorpius, is portrayed by Anthony Boyle.

Tickets Sold Out Since May.

Many fans who would want to get tickets will have a hard time. Though ticket reservations are still possible, it will take some time before seats will be guaranteed. The production house is set to announce upcoming ticket sales schedules.
