4 'Pokemon GO' Tips' Every Player Actually Needs To Know

Almost everyone could play "Pokemon GO" from Niantic. It is not a complex game, after all. But of course, like any other games, it is best to keep some useful tips handy. So befoe players busy themselves catching Pokemon, here are some tips they may want to check out.

Play "Pokemon GO" Responsibly

Funny as it may sound, this is actually quite helpful. In a video from CNET, a couple of "Pokemon GO" players have found themselves in odd situations. Think about two teens reportedly stuck in caves (located 100 ft. underground) while playing the game. Or perhaps, about a guy who caused a major highway accident after stopping in the middle of the road. If people do not start paying attention to where they are going, they are really in for a big trouble.

Know Which "Pokemon GO" Areas Have More Pokemon

It is no question that "Pokemon GO" players want to acquire as many Pokemon as they can. After all, they have been dreaming of becoming a Pokemon master someday. Well, thanks to an app called Ingress, yet another AR game developed by Niantic, this can be a reality. The app shows small white dots, which are called "XM." Surprisingly, these dots show where creatures are likely to spawn.

Turn Off "Pokemon GO" AR Mode To Save Battery

AR (or better known as Augmented Reality) games like "Pokemon GO" have become a thing of today. Unfortunately, it can dry the life out a person's smartphone battery. Generally speaking, Niantic's latest title comes with an AR Mode which players need when catching Pokemon. But then again, it eats battery power like a monster. So, as much as possible, turn it off when not needed. It can be accessed through the game's Settings menu.

Do Not Run/Walk In Circles In "Pokemon GO"

Sometimes, when the going gets tough, "Pokemon GO" players tend to get lazy and, say, walk and/or run in circles. In reality, the game will not record how far a player has gone by doing so. The system basically measures distance between where a player was and where a player currently is, as reported by HQ Grand Prairie. And yes, this is done regularly. If no distance is recorded, it is almost impossible to catch a Pokemon.
