What The Redesigned iPhone 8 Will Have Over The iPhone 7

The iPhone 7, which is expected to be launched next month, is clouded with lackluster, if not outright negative speculation. Though there are plenty of improvements that are expected in the unit, the general public cannot seem to get over the lack of aesthetic changes. Fortunately enough, the iPhone 8 seems to be taking care of this issue.

As reported by BGR, Apple is planning a major redesign for its 10-year anniversary unit. In addition to an OLED display, which will cover a great majority of the handheld's face, a Touch ID sensor is also expected beneath the display. The Touch ID sensor will negate the need for a home button. Further, Apple is expected to ditch its current all-aluminum body and will bring back the glass casing last seen on the iPhone 4.

Though unlikely accurate, a concept was created by ConceptsiPhone, which showcases a beautiful looking iPhone 8. It sports edges that are the slightest bit curved and a rimless display. It also indicates that the anniversary unit may come with a brand new stereo setup, a sapphire crystal back and a single-lens camera. Lastly, the site expects that the unit will come with a complete wireless charging feature.

In the end of the video are the words, "Simple. Smart. Phone." Following this is the claim, "The all new iPhone."

The rumors at this point cannot create a definite picture, but the iPhone 8 will definitely be different from its predecessors - that much is certain.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 is expected to be launched this September 9th. As The Country Caller claims, the iPhone 7 will come without a physical Home button, which will be replaced by a touch sensitive panel instead. Another item that the iPhone 7 is expected to leave behind is the standard 3.5 audio jack, in favor of either Bluetooth earphones or a Lightning earpods.
