After months and months of rumors and leaks, Google is finally ready to clear things up about its upcoming devices. Today, the giant tech company is announcing their October 4 event. A teaser video has been released, and everyone has seen it the same way - a new smartphone (or smartphones) is coming.

Google's Announcement For Its October 2016 Event

A teaser that technically says nothing is apparently a surefire indication that the company has something up its sleeves for October 4. Neowin reports that Google is holding a hardware event where two new devices are expected to be announced.

The company also prepared a new webpage called madeby.google.com and it's basically just the same as the teaser and it keeps details to a minimum as well. There are different high quality photos shown in the page, but without actual information, it's difficult to interpret them. The date Oct.4 is actually specified and that is probably the most useful detail that was released by Google. You can also submit your email address in that page so as to keep you updated about Google devices.

Google's Teaser For Its 2016 Event

The said teaser simply shows a search box turning into a rectangle. The simplest way people can interpret that is that the giant search engine company is releasing a new handset. It's a thirty second video that only shows a transitioning box shape with background music. At the end, the date was shown alongside the 'box' and Google's logo.

Google Pixel And Google Pixel XL To Be Announced October

Now that an event day has been confirmed, it's almost sure that people will finally lay their eyes on the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. It has been months since the rumors for these phones has started. They even changed names in the process. From being called Sailfish and Marlin, the two new phones ended up being Pixel phones. Previous reports assured that HTC is this year's manufacturer for Google Nexus successors. However, Huawei may not yet be out of the picture as it could actually be the one who manufactured Google's rumored tablet, which could be announced at the said event as well.
