PlayStation VR Is Getting Eve Valkyrie In Second Week Of October

One of the most frolicked games of all time, Eve Valkyrie, finally arrives in PlayStation VR on October 13. The game, which, is included on PlayStation's demo disc, allows gamers a graphically intensive gameplay with an even better feature.

Valkyrie Available on all Platforms

Eve Valkyrie from CCP Games is a first for virtual reality, Polygon reported. The game hits all three major VR Platforms: The Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR. The gamer can play with or against others using any of the other headsets.

"What we haven't said before, and will for the first time here on stage is cross-platform play." Eve: Valkyrie executive producer Owen O'Brien told the cheering crowd at Fanfest in Reykjavik, Iceland.

PlayStation VR the Best Platform for Valkyrie

With PSVR's low weight headset, easy to use features and maximum comfort, it might not come a surprise that most would be choosing it over other VR gears. Although the game doesn't look quite as good on PlayStation as compared to a high-end gaming PC, PSVR still offers a framerate that is impressive and rock-solid.

Andrew Willens, the lead game designer on Valkyrie said, "The game is the same on all platforms but PSVR is another headset. Obviously there's a certain degree of optimization work that has to happen for the PlayStation 4."

The content that is released for the Rift version of the game will also be released along with the PSVR version. Further development on new maps, ships and game modes will be the same for all versions of the game, According to Eve Valkyrie's blog.

Valkyrie can be downloaded digitally or can be bought as a disk at a price of $59.99 in all retail and online stores. On October 13, each version of the game includes the limited edition founder's pack.
