Mark your calendars as the 8th installation of The Fast and The Furious franchise is almost here. New Characters are said to be on display in ‘Fast 8' and the most notable of them all is, Helen Mirren.

Mirren is a seasoned veteran actress already. She is a cornerstone in a certain degree in the film industry. One of the most versatile actresses in Hollywood; so-to-speak. She is one of the only few who were able to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting. She also won Best Actress in Academy Awards in 2007 and Best Actress In Play for Tony Awards. These are just few of the awards that Mirren was able to receive throughout her career. Also, her name is already immortalized as she joins other legendd in the hollywood walk of fame.

Going back to Fast 8, there is still no clear view on what would be the the character of Mirren. However, during an interview, she did mention that she's all about the action and willing to go on a race with Jason Statham.

"I had always had a secret hankering to do 'Fast and Furious' because I love driving cars," Mirren told Variety. Of course, when I finally got my chance, I wasn't driving the bloody car. I was in the back of an ambulance with Jason Statham", Mirren added.

She also explains about the possibility of her playing the girl version of James Bond. Her fascination with cars and guns can be seen during the interview. This is not the first time that she will be involved in an action-packed film. Few years ago, she was part of the main characters of Red and Red 2.

The Fast and The Furious franchise will never be the same without Paul Walker. His contribution to the movie and the film industry is irreplaceable. But don't worry, as the main characters like Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, to Dwayne Johnson promised that Paul Walker's legacy will live on, to the new movie.
