Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 News, Update & Tutorial: Dragon Ball Super Character Goku Black Unveiled, Great Ape An Easy Opponent?

With just two weeks before the official release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, more teasers from Bandai Namco have been keeping fans excited about the final version of the game. Among the most exciting updates for the game is the first look at the menacing "Dragon Ball Super" character Goku Black. Another central character in DBX 2, the Great Ape boss, is seen to be a weak opponent if a player has the right strategy.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Adds Goku Black To Character Roster

With the rising popularity of the newest villain in "Dragon Ball Super," fans were excited when it was announced that he would be part of the characters in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Although Black Goku could not transform into his Super Saiyan Rose form, there is no questioning that his base form would be enough to terrorize players in DBX 2.

Based on reports, Black Goku could be a useful character for Parallel Quests. Black Goku is a pre-order bonus for players who purchased the game until Oct. 25. For those who do not pre-order, the character can still be purchased separately.

Secret To Beating The Great Ape Nappa

One of the initial teasers that Bandai Namco posted prior to the closed beta for DBX 2 on Oct. 8 was a video for Experts Mission featuring The Great Ape Nappa. As it turns out, players discovered that there is a way to beat this boss easily. It seems as if Namekian characters have an easier time in beating Great Apes compared to characters from other races. These speculations are based on the beta; hence, there could be changes in the final version of the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled to have an open beta for PS4 players on Oct. 14. The final version of the game would be available on PS4 and Xbox One on Oct. 25 in North America and Oct. 28 in Europe. The scheduled release for PC/Steam is also on Oct. 28.
