Battlefield 1 "Play First" Trial Already Has Hackers

Battlefield 1 is already available in "Play First" trial for Origin Access subscribers, giving them a handful of ten hours of gameplay ahead of its official debut which is set to launch this Oct. 21.

The trial entails four multiplayer modes and two campaign missions and is currently taking around 40GB of space. The "Play First" trial was released a day ahead of its Oct. 13 schedule which, a lot of fans had then grabbed the opportunity to play the highly anticipated first-person shooter first-hand.

Battlefield 1 was met with mostly positive reviews from both fans and critics even from its beta test release but one fan has already been thinking otherwise. In an article by PC Gamer, the unnamed fan shared a video of what seems to be a gamer's worst nightmare. The 2-minute video clip explicitly shows how an aimbotter had easily taken all the fun away from the enthusiastic players, taking the game in a clean 65-0.

During the clip, you can also see how the hacker can easily fire to a target despite having a barrier or obstruction in his field-of-view; this gives us the notion that the hackers don't just possess aimbot capabilities but wallhacking as well. The unnamed fan retells his story and said: "It happened to me on the Amiens map in Rush mode, the shorter, attack-and-defend format. Moments into the match, I got killed around a corner that seemed impossible. I was glad to shrug it off-it was my first time on the map, I had my back to the guy, hell, maybe it was a lag spike I hadn't noticed. By the third or fourth time I had my face blown off through an impenetrable wall, I'd decided that my new objective was to test how effective this person's cheats were."

It's still uncertain as to what extent these hackers are capable of but it's definitely clear that they will keep hanging around the community even after the game's official debut if the matter is not dealt with. Until then, we can only hope for the authorities to capture these hackers and pass the necessary sanctions for their crimes. Hopefully EA DICE will somehow make further steps to resolve the recent hacking issues.
