Latest Destiny Update Adds New Gaming Mode, Boosts Light Level

Following the Rise of Iron DLC, Destiny has been updated with a new mode that is set to increase the level of difficulty of the game. To help players through it, update 2.4.1 will also boost the maximum light level.

New Gaming Mode For Additional Excitement And Light Drops Upgraded

The new Heroic Dode was added in the latest update of Destiny for gamers who want to challenge themselves by fighting difficult battles. The new playing mode is added to the latest Wrath of the Machine Raid. Per Cinema Blend, the added mode will finally give players the thrill they are looking for.

The difficulty of Wrath of the Machine will significantly increase with Destiny's new Heroic Mode. Even villains are getting a boost. Though a team of six is also given completely new ways to play.

Update 2.4.1 will also give the Destiny game a whole new level of greatness and experience. The current max light level at 385 is upped to 400 with drops that can be obtained from activities

The corresponding Light drops were detailed by GamesRadar. According to the report, there should be Rare Engrams and the SIVA Strike Playlist for 365 Light drops; Legendary Engrams, Archon's Forge and Heroic SIVA Strike playlist for 385 Light drops; and Exotic Engrams, Nightfall, Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, Crucible and Strike Hoards for 400 Light drops.

Destiny Update Brings More Changes

On a different side of the updates, Artifacts and Ghosts will drop more and eventually will be added to Archon's Forge rewards; while Wrath of the Machine, Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris will give higher rewards. 

Destiny: Rise of Iron is proving to be a masterpiece. There have been a few issues and bugs that still exist, but the expansion has received positive feedback overall. Destiny's new Heroic Mode and the light level increase are already live today, Oct. 18.
